Paul Bedingfield

Paul has from a very young age had a passion for drawing and painting, winning his first award at the age of eight for a pencil drawing of a hedgehog.

Born in Middlesex, grew up and educated in Essex, Paul was always encouraged throughout his school years by his tutors to follow a career in art , particularly with his black and white work,  but instead on leaving school he joined the family business. However he still continued with his art picking up several awards along the way and when his parents retired he decided to realise a lifetime ambition and become a full time artist.

He also became very interested in Horse Racing and all that went on around it. Newmarket being a short distance away he soon developed a great love of painting all things in the Horse Racing world.

At the same time he joined The Society of Equestrian Artists with whom he has enjoyed considerable success and feels that is with their help and encouragement that he has reached his current level of status in the artworld.

Although Paul paints many various subjects  in most styles and mediums it is his water colour and ink works which are most popular and for his equine work that he is best known.
