Commonwealth Cup hero is a father for the first time
“Size and scope”: the first foal by Eqtidaar

Royal Ascot-winning sprinter EQTIDAAR has his first foal on the ground.

The new arrival is a handsome bay colt out of the placed CHAMPS ELYSEES mare RESPECTABLE born at Brook Stud in Newmarket on January 15.

“He’s a good strong, correct colt with size and scope,” said the thrilled breeder Dwayne Woods. “We’re delighted with him.”

RESPECTABLE, who ran second in a Salisbury novice stakes in a light career, hails from a strong Aga Khan Studs family.

She is out of DALANDRA, a MONTJEU half-sister to Listed winner DALKOVA, and is related to the brilliant talents DALIAPOUR, DARSHAAN, DAR RE MI and TOO DARN HOT.

EQTIDAAR won by two and a half lengths on debut at two and landed the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot from the likes of SANDS OF MALI, INVINCIBLE ARMY, UNFORTUNATELY and SIOUX NATION at three.

By influential sire of sires INVINCIBLE SPIRIT and a half-brother to Hungerford Stakes winner MASSAAT and exciting Horris Hill Stakes scorer MUJBAR, he is standing at Nunnery Stud at a fee of £5,000 in 2021.
