Promising second-season sire MUHAARAR posted an exciting new winner when his son CEMHAAN cruised to an impressive victory in a mile novice stakes at Kempton on March 4.
Trained by John Gosden for Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, CEMHAAN was sent off a warm favourite after finishing a close second at Newcastle last time out.
The bay did not disappoint, making all the running under Frankie Dettori and kicking clear at the furlong pole. He was eased down to score by two lengths.
CEMHAAN was bred by Essafinaat UK out of SHALWA, a GALILEO full-sister to Prix Vicomtesse Vigier winner and St Leger runner-up KITE WOOD.
He becomes the 21st individual winner for MUHAARAR, the champion sprinter who stands at Nunnery Stud this year at a fee of £20,000.
