Corporate Social Responsibility

What is corporate social responsibility?

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was first introduced in to large business consciousness in the 1960s; its contemporary meaning is dynamic depending on the geographical and social landscape in which a company works. In its simplest terms, CSR is a set of principles designed by a company to promote its investment in its employees, the environment and in the local community in which it operates.

Shadwell’s CSR efforts are constantly developing and the information on these pages is only a sample of the projects we have in hand.
