Tasleet relocates for the 2024 breeding season
The three-time Group 1 placed sprinter and sire of Bradsell moves to India
Shadwell can confirm that Tasleet has been sold and will relocate to Star Born Stud in Punjab, India, for the 2024 breeding season.
The purchased son of Showcasing retired to Nunnery Stud as a 6-year-old in 2018 after an illustrious racing career. This included winning the Group 2 Duke of York Stakes and also placing in three Group 1's; the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, 32Red Sprint Cup Stakes and Qipco British Champions Stakes.
His first crop, now three-year-olds, include dual Royal Ascot winner Bradsell who struck in both the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes, as a three year old, and Group 2 Coventry Stakes, as a two-year-old. He has also produced Listed winner and multiple Group placed American Sonja.
Shadwell would like to sincerely thank all breeders who have supported Tasleet, as well as those who have cared for him during both his time in racing and at stud. We will continue to wish him every success in his future stallion career.
