The Foal Sales
Minzaal covered a full debut book in 2023 with 16 percent of those mares being Stakes winners and 25 percent Stakes performers - the highest ratios for any stallion who retired to Ireland that year.
His first crop also includes siblings to top-notchers; Mill Stream (won Gr.1 July Cup) and Asymmetric (won Gr.2 Richmond Stakes), Marhaba Ya Sanafi (won Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains), Aristia (won Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet), Powerful Glory (won Gr.2 Mill Reef Stakes), Atomic Force (won Gr.2 Prix Robert Papin), Happy Romance (Dual Gr.3 winner and second in Gr.1 Al Quoz Sprint), Jash (won L. King Charles II Stakes and second in Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes) and Create Belief (won Gr.3 Desmond
Stakes) as well as numerous other notable horses.

A warm welcome...
As one of the most exciting stallion prospects to retire to stud in Ireland in 2023, Minzaal's first foals were eagerly anticipated, with the list of supporting breeders like a who's who of leading Irish commercial breeders, as well as those from further afield.
They have received rave reviews! Just a few of the regular descriptives used by the breeders of his first foals include words such as strong, correct, sharp and good bone.
One of the 'feel good' stories was Minzaal's breeder, Derek Veitch of Ringfort Stud, producing one of his earliest foals, a filly out of Shenoya which he stated is a “big strong foal with a lovely bay colour, very correct and great bone. She looks very much like her sire and we are absolutely thrilled with her”.
Other breeders who welcomed some of the first arrivals were Rosetown Bloodstock, Barry Lynch and Forenaughts Stud.

Blazing Speed!
The highest-rated sprinter in Europe in 2022, such was the speed shown by Minzaal when blazing to a 3¾ length victory in the Gr.1 Sprint Cup at Haydock the official clock malfunctioned - unofficial times indicate the 6f track record was well and truly broken.
An emphatic winner of the Gr.2 Gimcrack Stakes at two, he was placed in Group 1 company at two, three and four. As they say, he ticks ALL of the boxes, especially when you add that he is Mehmas's best son.
